Style HQ turns gourmet for the Biggest Morning Tea

Fabulous fashion, food and... cancer research? One would not normally associate the three in the same sentence, but when SHQ’s annual ‘Australia's Biggest Morning Tea’ rolls around (organised by our very own Bella Sevitt!), we know it’s time to discard our fashion sensibilities and embrace the gourmet chefs within.
Here at SHQ we absolutely love food! Couple this with the opportunity to raise money for cancer research at ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’, and the SHQ head office team go into full chef mode...
Walking into the showroom you’d’ve been forgiven for thinking you’d taken a wrong turn and walked into the Masterchef or Gastronomy kitchens (both a just a stone’s throw away).
With staff from the Rosebery and Alexandria offices contributing, the gourmet food fest was on...
Sweet treats and savoury flavours were on offer including delicious baked items from lamingtons, tea cakes, and pies, to fresh fruit salads, hot spring rolls and classic English fare of high tea cucumber sandwiches and coloured cupcakes, to spinach & fetta pasties, and home-made sausage rolls... mmmm...yum.
But even with the delicious culinary distractions, the meaning of the event was not lost and the team raised a substantial amount of money for cancer research.
Thank you, as always, to our Bella Sevitt (and the Cancer Council) for organising the event. We are already looking forward to creating some lovely treats for next year...
